of life for marriage and family. The family also reflected the unity
and harmony as seen in the holy Trinity- Father, Son and Spirit.
At the fall of man, the destiny of marriage and family faced attack,

WHY THE MINISTRY OF MARRIAGE?

MARRIAGE IS A

GOOD THING

ORDAINED BY GOD.

That's why He desires that through the family domain,
God will show His glory to the world.

About My Place Of Rest Ministries

The Genesis

My Place of Rest Ministries was started in 2016 by Vision Bearers- Mr Paul Magera and Pastor Margaret Magera.
The name: ‘My Place of Rest’- is inspired from Malachi 2:11: Marriage is an institution that he loves, and John 15:4: The Lord God almighty desires to abide in our marriages and us in him. Marriage is the Lord’s
sanctuary- The place where He rests.

Why a ministry for marriage?

1. God is the answer: He has heard the cries of his people in the family and has come to their rescue Exodus 3:9-10
2. Rest: God desires that marriage is released to honor and worship Him. He has therefore come to grant rest to families. Exodus 6:3-8
3. Redemption: God has come to with a promise of redemption and is asking us to trust in him and let Him work in our marriages- Isaiah 43.

What we believe that/in!

Marriage is ordained by God and is a union of a Man and a Woman.
Marriage is the will of God and therefore every marriage has a Kingdom (of God) assignment.
Marriage is a mirror of the relationship between Christ and the Church.
Marriage is a Holy institution loved by God.
Marriage can be restored and every marriage has a fighting chance to thrive.

Message from the Vision Bearer

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

On behalf of My Place of Rest Ministries – I thank you again for your partnership and support in enabling us to fulfill the mandate upon the ministry.

Our vision is to see marriages and families restored back to God’s original plan at creation: This is done through hosting the presence of God in our homes, prayer, reading the Word of God and living in obedience and submission to the will of God. Consequently, throughout the year we have been able to execute events and activities that are in line with our mandate. Some of these include; services, conferences, missions, etc.

All these and other day to day operations have only been possible through your giving. In this year- we expect more growth and expansion in achieving the mission that God has entrusted us with. I welcome you to stay with us or join us on this worthwhile journey of returning marriages and families back to God.
