When you sit down and make an analysis of the type of family you want and you count the cost, you discover that the cost is not only material. The investment in the unseen is huge, and you need to be prepared to walk the journey.
Most people would rather deal with the financial cost but not the work that goes into laying the right foundation, building right and all. It calls for integrity, dedication, diligence, and patience. It is a sacrifice you make to see the beauty you are looking for both inwardly and outwardly.
Luke 14:28-30 For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it? Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish.’
The beauty is in this journey of building your life, there is help. The help I refer to here is the help from God the builder. You can be sure that you will not build in vain if you can only yield to His way of building with you. Note that God will not build your house without your participation. The earlier you count the cost, the better for you. You need to start.
Luke 14:27 Whoever does not bear his own cross and come after me can not be my disciple. PRAYER:
Father, in the Name of Jesus, I know with you by my side and with me in my boat I can not fail. Help me to build and build right, Amen.
