Luke 2:29-32 “Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you may now dismiss your servant in peace. [30] For my eyes have seen your salvation, [31] which you have prepared in the sight of all nations: [32] a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of your people Israel.”
Simeon had a promise upon his life that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Messiah. Scripture records his day of testimony of what God had promised him. For him, the boundary lines had indeed fallen in pleasant places.
Press on in faith and expectation for your day of testimony over those promises over your life, destiny, marriage, family, children, vision, dreams, health, works, generations, etc. If you do not know or even recall them, search them out by the Spirit of the Lord. Ask Him, He shall reveal what you need to know and watch over or contend for.
PRAYER: Father, in the Name of Jesus, you determined that with our own eyes, we shall see your promises manifest, and by our own lips, we shall testify about the fulfillment of all things named in our timelines, may we remain in agreement with your perfect will, Amen.
