Marrieds' Retreat

Welcome

The 10th Annual Marrieds’ Retreat is here! From the 9th to the 11th of January 2026  , married couples and families will once again ascend to Mountain Zion Prayer Mountain  , the home of the retreat, for three sacred days of encounter, renewal, and alignment in God’s original plan for marriage and family.

Under the leadership of Pastor Margaret Magera , Vision Bearer of   My Place of Rest Ministries  , this retreat marks   a decade of covenant restoration   — ten years of seeing God rebuild families, rekindle love, and establish His priesthood within homes across generations.

Since its inception, the Marrieds’ Retreat has been a prophetic altar where marriages are rededicated to God, wounds are healed, and direction for the new year is received.

Over the years: Couples have testified to   miraculous reconciliation   and   revived priesthood in homes, Families have rediscovered the  original blueprint of marriage as ordained by God in Genesis.

Each retreat has been a spiritual calibration   — a moment when couples pause to thank God for the past year and seek His counsel for the one ahead.

At the 9th Annual Retreat (2025), the Spirit of God emphasized  “The Priesthood in the Home”   — calling husbands, wives, and families to return to the order of Melchizedek. Powerful sessions revealed that when the priesthood in a home is aligned, everything else comes into divine order.

Couples prayed earnestly that their homes would no longer be altars of strife but of   unity, boldness, and divine fire  . The retreat carried an atmosphere of   refinement  , as participants yielded to God’s process of purifying the priesthood and restoring His glory in the family altar.

Marriage is not a social arrangement — it is a spiritual assignment. A priesthood that is out of order leaves the family exposed.”

REGISTRATION

This Year’s theme – “Occupy Till I Come” from Luke 19:13. In 2026, God calls couples not only to stand but to   occupy   — to take responsibility for the spiritual, emotional, and practical stewardship of their homes until Christ returns.

This theme, drawn from  Luke 19:13 , is a divine summon to hold ground  ,   govern faithfully, and build generationally. “Occupy your space. Occupy your marriage. Occupy your priesthood. The Lord is returning for a faithful steward, not a passive believer.”

At the Mountain Zion Prayer Mountain, the Lord will once again speak through His ordained ministers, releasing direction for families to   reign in righteousness  ,   preserve covenant  , and   advance the Kingdom through marriage.
